Question 1

What does College Soccer Placement actually do?

Accepted Answer

CSP guides players and families through the college soccer recruiting process — providing honest evaluations, education on NCAA/NAIA/JUCO pathways, highlight video support, college coach outreach, and long-term guidance to help you find the right fit.

Question 2

Is the Free Player Profile really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Free Player Profile is completely free. It gives CSP the information needed to understand your background, goals, and potential college soccer fit — with no obligation.

Question 3

Do you work with international students?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. CSP works with players from around the world and helps international student-athletes navigate the recruiting process, eligibility requirements, and finding programs that fit both academically and athletically.

Question 4

What levels of college soccer do you place athletes at?

Accepted Answer

CSP has placed athletes across NCAA Division I, Division II, and Division III programs, as well as NAIA and JUCO. We focus on the right fit — not just the highest level.

Question 5

What ages or grade levels should start with CSP?

Accepted Answer

Players of any high school grade can benefit — earlier tends to mean more preparation time, but CSP also works with juniors, seniors, and transfer athletes actively looking for a program.

Question 6

Do you help with transfers or portal athletes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CSP works with current college players looking to transfer, helping them evaluate options, communicate with programs, and find a better fit for the next stage of their career.

Question 7

How soon will I hear back after submitting a profile?

Accepted Answer

A member of the CSP team typically follows up within a few business days to discuss next steps.

Question 8

Does CSP guarantee placement or a scholarship?

Accepted Answer

No honest advisor can guarantee placement or scholarships. What CSP guarantees is honest feedback, real guidance, and the tools and exposure to give you the best chance at the right opportunity.

Question 9

How long does the recruiting process take?

Accepted Answer

Every athlete's timeline is different. Starting early creates more time to build a strong profile, develop academically and athletically, and connect with suitable programs, but CSP also supports athletes working on shorter timelines.

Question 10

What does it cost to work with CSP?

Accepted Answer

The Player Profile is free. After reviewing your information and goals, CSP will explain any recommended services and costs clearly before you decide how to proceed.

Can college freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors work with CSP?

Accepted Answer

Yes. CSP supports high school freshmen through seniors, current college athletes, and transfer athletes. Guidance is tailored to the athlete's current stage and available timeline.

Question 12

What do international athletes need for U.S. college recruiting?

Accepted Answer

Requirements vary by pathway and school, but may include academic records, eligibility documentation, English-language testing, video, and financial planning. CSP helps families understand the steps relevant to their situation.

Question 13

What recruiting materials should a player prepare?

Accepted Answer

Most athletes benefit from a clear player profile, academic information, current team details, position information, and a focused highlight video. CSP helps identify what is needed and how to present it effectively.

Question 14

Will CSP communicate with college coaches for me?

Accepted Answer

CSP helps athletes communicate professionally and uses trusted coach relationships where appropriate. The goal is to make outreach personal, accurate, and targeted rather than sending generic mass messages.

Question 15

How do NCAA, NAIA, and JUCO pathways differ?

Accepted Answer

Each pathway has different eligibility standards, recruiting rules, timelines, scholarship structures, and program environments. CSP helps athletes and families understand those differences and evaluate the right fit.
